The project involves the design of a visual book based on the existing “Description of a Battle: The Rituals of Football” by Alessandro Dal Lago, a sociology text that analyzes the culture of organized fandom and the world of stadiums.

The project stems from an in-depth research of photographic material, which serves the documentary and explanatory function of visually retracing the various events in the history of football and the ultras phenomenon analyzed by the author.
The work features several full-bleed pages of newspapers aimed at highlighting the warlike lexicon mentioned by the author and engaging the reader more deeply, almost immersing them in a newspaper.
